Go ahead, throw them in the wash! They are durable! Simply turn inside out, close the velcro tab cover to protect from scratches and wash and dry along with any of your other items.  If you're traveling don't have a washing machine, hand wash in a sink with a gentle soap, ring out excess water.  Lay flat or hang to dry.
